Alison’s passion for landscape design goes way back to her Connecticut roots, planting bulbs with her dad in the yard of her childhood home.

When spring came and the tulips bloomed, she was hooked. So her dad gave her a garden of her own to plant and that’s how her design skills got their start.

Her passion eventually led her to the landscape architecture program at the University of California, Berkeley. Her first professional design work was with a well-known landscape architect in San Francisco, where she learned the trade and honed her landscaping design skills.

When Alison moved to San Diego in 2005, she launched Wellington Toth Landscape Design. She has been creating beautiful outdoor spaces for clients all over North County ever since.
